Ms. Hardesty has worked with children and adolescents in the mental health field for over 13 years. She is currently obtaining another master's degree but in Social Work as well as becoming certified in grief counseling. Prior to joining Â鶹Éç, Ms. Hardesty worked as a therapist, Program Director and Youth Serivces Supervisor for DHHR.  She currently resides in Â鶹Éç where she enjoys spending time with her family and friends. 

 

♦Conducting bio-psychosocial assessments and social histories

♦Assessing students for substance use, support systems, physical and emotional functioning, barriers to academic performance, peer issues, suicidal/homicidal ideation, and similar issues

♦Providing direct therapeutic services such as individual or group therapy regarding specific issues

♦Providing crisis management services, including assessing for safety 

♦Advocating for student services and students’ best interests

♦Providing case management services including, but not limited to, referrals to community resources, collaboration with other professionals Providing trainings and workshops to teachers, school staff and parents 

♦Conducting home visits 

♦Contributing to a multidisciplinary treatment team
