What are Family Engagements?
Family Engagements are events that bring parents into their children's school, or community, to help engage them in their children's education.
At Guyandotte Elementary School we focus on engagements that fit our Strategic Goals. These events include reading, math, writing and STEM.
We host at least one (1) engagement a month, but have several months when more are hosted.
Our annual events include; Pumpkin Math (Math Skills), Cookies with Santa (Math Skills), Book Bingo (Reading Skills), Dr. Seuss Night (STREAM Skills) and Family Game Night (Math & Reading Skills).
